Sometimes; in the midst of chaos, wonderful things happen. Like an unexpected dinner and movie with your best friend. During said dinner, your best friend tells you that she is going to New York. Wonderful as she is going the same weekend you took off, just in case you happened to accept an offer your future ex husband made you to go to Vegas.

Even more wonderful is that the kind folks over at travel*city sent you a farewatcher alert that allowed you, as her best friend to actually purchase the ticket and tag along with her. And the most wonderful part is your best friend's company is paying for the hotel, all weekend. With any luck, we will find some reasonable tickets to Wicked and follow the yellow brick road to a wonderful weekend.

You know you don't drive anywhere there, right? I don't drink that often, but I have a feeling I will -- a LOT!
