But not to New Orleans. I spoke with my uncle who works for the agriculture dept of Louisiana and he said it is not safe. So, I am reshifting.

My neighborhood was so awesome during the drive for our neighbors who's house burned, that I am holding a food, water, clothes, donation drive tomorrow night 6-10. I am making the posters to put out now.

Then, on Sunday, hopefully St Tropez Butler & I will be volunteering, somewhere, somehow. The food bank, the Astrodome, Reliant Center, where ever.

I called him this morning and he was already all over it. I knew he would be, and this will be the perfect time to meet, in helping others.

I have 100.00 bucks donated through paypal so far, keep it coming! That's two hundred when Sprint matches it.

I am going to the dollar store and purchasing about 100 bucks worth of cereal, canned meats, crackers, etc. I stopped by there today and they have several 2 & 3 for a dollar food items that will be very good for the food bank who is stepping up big time to the ones in the dome.

Just to clarify, people are NOT being turned away from the dome, they are being redirected to other shelters in Dallas, San Antonio & Austin. The city also opened up the reliant center to the displaced as well. I am so proud of my state and city, it's even better than the Texans winning the superbowl!
