Well folks, I am still in Houston (Jaded, I am OK!!!)

I went in at 8 for the conference call. Guess what? ALL STORES CLOSED!

No shit.

I-10 is a parking lot.

Our parking lot at the store is an automobile hotel.

It took me an hour an a half to get home, 13 miles.

Waited for Larry.

The storm started to move.

Took a nap (I had about 2.5 hours sleep) Storm still moving.

290 west (my way out) will not be made a contraflow as first stated.

My plan was to wait until contraflow had started about 8 and head west. It is about 110 degrees on the highway pavement, I have an old Tahoe, it was not worth overheating 30 miles from home.

So, here we sit, bags packed, storm moving east, highways are parking lots.

I will keep you posted, anyone who has my number, feel free to call. We aren't doing a whole hell of a lot ;)
