meeting the (former) enemy

I actually worked more than an hour with Jeff today. That hasn't happened since before I went on vacation. We are passing keys and emails during the day.

One of the last ones he sent "you are doing such a good job, I think I will take another week off" No way -- get your ass back to work!

Our merger with Nextel is complete, day 1 as a new company will be coming up very soon. Today, we crossed the former line and the street to meet our extended family at the Nextel store. Adrienne is going to that store until December as an ambassador, and one of their guys is coming to ours.

They have a nice store, they are in for a shock. The store quota is 80, ours is 373. No one walked in, was there or even called while we were there. OK, our store was dead too, but still.

There is only one girl there, she is very excited that Adrienne is coming.

We stole a bag with the new logo on it. Sprint is no longer red, we are black and yellow. Our diamond as been flipped out and looks like a wing.

It will all be very, very interesting!
